The Bancroft & District Chamber of Commerce has an opening for a
MEMBERSHIP & MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to work both independently and as a team member in a Community-Tourism based setting. This is a full-time position, with wages and benefits commensurate to experience and ability. Knowledge of computer database programs, publisher and graphic design would be an asset. Must have a vehicle available for member visits and recruitment. A more complete job description is available here.

Sustainable Bancroft Open House - POSTPONED - please refer back for date
The Sustainable Plan will only work as a long term plan for our community if it is regularly updated by you, the public. Some of the activities that individuals and organizations can participate in include:
·Gather a list of projects you are already working on to add them to a new Action List.
·Brainstorm with community organizations and individuals on what Action Items to add to the new list.
·Discover what attendees believe are the two most pressing issues or opportunities the community should tackle in the year ahead.
·Become a “partner” by completing a Sustainability Checklist for your organization, family or project (see the Town website for the Checklist)

Bancroft Gem & Mineral Club Display The Bancroft Gem & Mineral Club Museum is currently under renovation and not open, but once complete, it will be housed along with the Chamber in its original home - the restored Bancroft Railway Station. The expanded museum will focus on the Mining Heritage of the region, mineral education and collecting.
