They are a band that loves to play and they deliver that feeling and energy to the audience, with burning guitar, a rock solid rhythm section, rockin' piano and soaring vocal harmonies.

Danny Marks is a Toronto Blues Society's Blues with a Feeling Award winner for lifetime achievement. This iconic rocker's roots go back to the sixties as a founding member of Capitol Records' group, Edward Bear. After a span as a journey man session musician throughout the seventies, Danny settled in to the club scene, establishing a cult following as a genre bender in music and humour. A guitarist, vocalist and host, Marks is a formidable triple threat!

Spare Parts regularly appeared in Maynooth from 1994 though 1998. The band includes: Rock/R&B vocalist Maureen Leeson, Canadian indie music icon Jaimie Vernon of Bullseye Records (bass and vocals), Geoff Wilson -who many will remember from Klaatu (guitars, vocals), locally grown percussionist Duanne Welsh who has played drums since he was 8 and been with Moving Targetz, Dr Rock & The Wild bunch , The Hounds, The Mud cats, Wakin' Up Johnny and Thunder Box.

Logger's Day
